Dear Adventurer Parent If you have recently moved into this area, or maybe, just not got to meet us yet we should like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves. All the leaders come from local villages and belong to local Christian churches. We aim to give the children a club of their own where they can relax with their friends and have a lot of fun too, and at the same time to teach the children about the Bible and following the Christian way, through stories, dramas and quizzes etc. We realise the importance of taking thoughtful care of our children, keeping risks to a minimum. We often play games with the children running around, please would you ensure that your child is wearing suitable footwear – trainers are ideal. We have planned outdoor sessions where possible in the summer. Adventurers is open to all children of Junior School age (Years 3 to 6). Sessions at West Harptree Hall run from 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm. Please try to be punctual picking your child up as the Net use the hall as soon as we have finished. A small charge of 75p per session is made to cover the costs. We will need some volunteers to help with transport for the swimming session - the cost for that evening is £1.25 for entry in the pool.
